Transparent Demo Architecture
Owned commerce infrastructure for merchants who need checkout, orders, payment status, support, and fulfillment to operate from one controlled system.
1. What this demo is
A fictional storefront that shows the operating layer behind catalog, cart, checkout, payment status, order handling, and merchant admin — for platform-sensitive merchants who need more control than rented platforms give them.
2. What runs in demo mode
Storefront, cart, checkout, demo payment simulation, order creation with DEMO- markers, and admin/order visibility against a sanitized database. DEMO_MODE stays on so live processors are not called.
3. What is simulated
Payments (BTCPay / card / P2P), transactional email, shipping labels and tracking, Discord/Telegram bots, and AI assistance when keys are absent. You will see status and confirmation copy without real money movement.
4. What happens during checkout
You browse demo products, add to cart (OPEN10 applies automatically), enter shipping details, pass any eligibility checkpoint, then simulate payment seen and confirmation. A demo order is written — no real payment request is created.
5. What the merchant sees in admin
Demo orders and customers appear in the same admin surfaces used in a live deployment: order list, status, product CMS, and settings. Records are clearly demo-tagged where practical.
6. What connects live during a real launch
Your domain, Resend (or email), BTCPay or other rails with merchant-held wallets, shipping accounts, and optional alerts — wired to the same operating path you just walked.
7. What the merchant owns and controls
Code, database, customer and order data, domain, wallet destinations, and revenue. SovereignStack is not a processor and does not custody funds.
8. What this is not
Not a Shopify replacement for everyone. Not a processor bypass. Not a high-risk workaround. Not an AI-first product. Not a real store selling regulated goods.
